Type R622 Pressure Reducing Regulator - Second Stage Regulator
Type R622 direct-operated, spring-loaded regulators provide economical pressure reducing control in a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. These regulators can be used with natural, manufactured, or liquefied petroleum gases and have the same inlet and outlet pressure capabilities.
Features
- Compact design
- High capacity
- Protective inlet screen
- Internal relief
- Light weight
- Inlet and out pressure gauge taps
Maximum Inlet Pressure
- Operating: 125 psig (8.62 bar)
- Emergency: 125 psig (8,62 bar)
- Except 1.8 to 2.2-inches w.c.(4 to 5 mbar) spring range which has operating and emergency pressures of 60 psig (4,14 bar)
Maximum Outlet (Casing) Pressure
- Operating to Avoid Internal Part Damage: 3 psid (0,21 bar d) above outlet pressure setting
- Emergency: 20 psi (1,38 bar
Time proven design constructed of corrosionresistant
and wear-resistant materials, the R622H is designed
to provide a Recommended Replacement Life of 20 years.
Built-in 1/8” FNPT gauge taps on both the inlet and outlet
pressure sides allow for easy system checks. A large 3/4”
FNPT drip-lip vent reduces the chance of blockage by freezing
rain or sleet when properly installed with the vent pointing
down. Each R622H is equipped for overpressure protection
with a corrosion-resistant internal relief valve that provides high
capacity relief and a travel stop on the closing cap. Its size and
con.guration make it ideal for under-the-dome installations.
Stage regulators,
are Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL) Listed Regulators
designed to reduce the outlet pressure from a First-
Stage regulator, usually 10 psig (0,69 bar) to 11” water
column (27 mbar), in domestic installations. Vents are
screened with standard orientation over the inlet, but
other orientations are available. Fisher Second-Stage
regulators are painted palm green for easy identification. |
